Biography: The adopted son of James Goodwin, one of the pioneering figures of modern pro-wrestling, Samuel James Goodwin began his career as an active wrestler for his father's promotion James Goodwin Promotions in 2005. A very young man, he wrestles under a mask as "Urizen" in the United States, and is blessed with natural athletic talent. While not as big as his father, Jr. uses more speed and cunning then sheer power and brute force. Goodwin Jr. has bounced around for several years, even capturing the BURNING PARADISE tag team championships with his father for two months in 2009. Jr. showed up in KJPW alongside his younger brother "BIG" Jon Goodwin in early 2013 after being introduced by their father, James Goodwin. "Double Goodwin" would dominate the tag division towards the later months of the year after capturing the HEC Tag Team titles. The two would be forced to vacate the titles in 2014 due to lack of company activity. With KJPW's successful return in 2015 however, Double Goodwin once again plan on reclaiming their spot as the top tag team in not just Japan, but the world!

Biography: Competing in boxing and track and field during his youth, Ryuugo Nagashima was a prime candidate for Kazuya Asakino's prestigious Steel Wind Dojo. Earning recommendations from Asakino himself, Nagashima competed for many organizations during the formative years of his career -- while primarily representing his home organization of Nansei Nihon Pro-Wrestling. 2009 saw Nagashima compete primarily for Pro-Wrestling FURY at the request of Kazuya Asakino. As the years went by, Nagashima found an identity as an independent wrestler; showing up frequently in garbage promotion Frontier Wrestle Project. In 2015, Nagashima made a shocking return to the national stage after signing a one-year contract with KJPW.

Biography: Tetsuhisa Nakagawa entered pro-wrestling as a second generation star, inheriting a legacy thanks to his late father, Kendo NAKAI. Kendo NAKAI was one of Japan's more notorious heels during the 70's and 80's, and is also responsible for discovering a young amateur grappler named Masaaki Komura, who would go on later to become Kazuma Fujita. After his father's untimely passing in the late 90's, Tetsuhisa began training under Kazuma Fujita, learning what his father had taught him decades before. The two shared a close relationship for years, even after Tetsuhisa finally debuted in late 2002, leading to the creation of Pro-Wrestling FURY. Despite wanting to strike out using his own name early on, Tetsuhisa Nakagawa became Tetsuhisa NAKAI towards the end of the year after engaging in a heated generation rivalry with Hiroaki Nakata. NAKAI would win his first championship in 2003 -- doing so by finally earning a hard-sought victory over Nakata. NAKAI would remain a top figure in Pro-Wrestling FURY until controversially leaving the promotion in 2007. After expanding his pro-wrestling ideology in the form of competing in "garbage" death matches, NAKAI was brought back to FURY at the request of generation rival -- now friend, Hiroaki Nakata. NAKAI would remain with the promotion until quitting once more towards the end of 2011, citing philosophical differences with the promotion's direction. He would make a very brief return to the FURY ring in 2012, competing on the promotion's tenth anniversary -- and final card. NAKAI returned to the independent scene, instantly shaking up several smaller regional promotions with his arrival. In 2015, NAKAI answered KJPW's call after declaring "ALL BORDERS OPEN." While his allegiance is never clear, NAKAI remains one of the strongest heavyweights in Japan.

Biography: Hiroaki Nakata graduated from the Kazuma Fujita dojo in 2002 with a great deal of hype surrounding him due to his credentials in amateur wrestling, which include the All-Japan Nationals and a silver medal in the Pan-Asian Championships. Nakata debuted on an independent event in August of 2002 that would be the inception for Pro-Wrestling FURY, formed later in the year. Nakata quickly rose to the top as Ace of the promotion, where he would begin a bitter -- and eventual friendly rivalry with second-generation star Tetsuhisa NAKAI. While other stars would emerge, Nakata remained a constant throughout the promotion's 10-year lifespan, holding both of the group's most prestigious titles: the UJPW Heavyweight title, and later the KOF Heavyweight title, in addition to winning the company's annual tournament held in November on two occasions. Nakata found himself as something of a controversial figure after quitting the promotion with a collection of other wrestlers, including Tetsuhisa NAKAI. While Nakata would eventually return, he would not follow the wrestlers who would go on to form KJPW. However to the surprise of many, Nakata made a surprising return to the national stage after KJPW publically declared "ALL BORDERS OPEN!" He has also dabbled as an promoter after a series of successful events under the "BREAK BLOW" banner... Perhaps reaching the end of his athletic prime, the "Renaissance Fighter" looks to make one last claim to the throne of "World's Strongest."

Physical Appearance: Akashi is an athletic freak borderline-obsessing on fitness. His body has a mixture of the typical bulk you'd see on a "traditional" pro-wrestler combined with a slim physique of a track runner. His dark hair is often slicked back, but is sometimes styled more eccentrically. One of his trademarks over the last few years has been his trimmed facial hair; an ear-to-ear beard he began to grow into during a trip to Mexico in 2013.

Biography: Norihiro Akashi debuted from Pro-Wrestling FURY's dojo in mid 2007 amidst much hype due his work ethic, in addition to winning several amateur wrestling championships. Akashi struggled early on to live up to the expectations promoters and fans both put on him. A successful American tour in 2009 saw Akashi return to Japan for his first attempt at becoming a main eventer. Akashi immediately made waves by challenging the notorious Ryo Inoue for FURY's top crown. However, the infamous legend was too much for him to overcome. During the final days of Pro-Wrestling FURY, Akashi finally reached the top by beating Naoki Fukuda for FURY's Heavyweight title. Unfortunately, Akashi's would slump once again after dropping the title in his first defense. Akashi would vanish from the public eye for the next year as he traveled the world learning and experiencing the various styles of pro-wrestling different locales had to offer. Akashi returned in early 2013, crashing a KJPW press conference uninvited. The controversial event earned Akashi entry into KJPW's ring, albeit as an outsider. Akashi stunned Japan by wrestling the HEC Heavyweight Title from the man who ended his run as champion, TAKU. Akashi has become a very mysterious figure in the last few years. Once again a lone wolf, Norihiro Akashi sets out on coloring the pro-wrestling world with his unique flavor.

Biography: Nishioka was a unique prospect, coming largely from a background in competitive bodybuilding, where he placed among the top five in several competitions around Japan. During high school, Nishioka also competed as a skilled amateur wrestler. However, Nishioka would choose to focus on his bodybuilding going forward. After graduating University with a degree in nutrition, Nishioka entered the Kazuma Fujita dojo to fulfill a childhood ambition. Nishioka's superb body gives him a distinct edge over your typical "young boy," with more athleticism than your typical bodybuilder. In 2015, Tsutomu came to embrace his bodybuilding background to become "Mr. Hard Body." The character has already turned eyes among fans, and certainly makes Tsutomu stand out.
