Biography: With some independent experience under his belt, Shino Hiriyama joined Iwate-based Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON early into his career. Hiriyama excelled as a tag wrestler; primarily as the "GLAMOUR PUNKS" with Katsumi Gakusha. He'd leave with Gakusha following his exit from CRIMSON in 2007, where the two would end up in Kanagawa's IFS: FREEDOM promotion. While Gakusha broke off as a singles star, Shino continued in the tag ranks; this time forming a strong team with Kazuhiro Okumura that would continue into FREEDOM's transformation into Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE. Shino's biggest credit would come in 2008, as he led the DYNAMITE team to an inter-promotional tournament victory in winning the BATTLE FUSION Trifecta Cup.

Hiriyama would find himself returning to CRIMSON in December of 2008 to form the new age terrorist unit "LOVE," bringing with him Kazuhiro Okumura. LOVE would find some success. Unfortunately, due to the devastating economic circumstances, CRIMSON would be forced to close its doors, leaving Hiriyama without a home. Banding together with his old friend Katsumi Gakusha, along with crafty veteran Seiji Ebisawa, Hiriyama joined SPIRIT International as they entered KJPW's gates.

Biography: A trainee for small independent promotion Jisedai Puroresu, Katsumi Gakusha was pegged for success early in his career, within two years capturing tag team titles. Gakusha would form a tag team with best friend Seiji Ebisawa that would last until the modern era.

Jisedai collapsed in 2002, resulting in Gakusha along with Seiji Ebisawa, Naoki Daishi & Goro "GORO" Iijima jumping ship to Project:BETA as a faction named Spirit International. Gakusha would stay with BETA until late 2003 when personal issues overwhelmed his life forcing BETA to terminate his contract. Future stays in CRIMSON would have the same result.

Gakusha ended up in the fledgling FREEDOM promotion. Gakusha turned his life around; overcoming personal issues and achieving success as the "Ace" of FREEDOM and later it's offspring DYNAMITE. Gakusha morphed from an also-ran to a legitimate top of the line star, holding the IFS Openweight Championship on two occassions. Gakusha also bested best friend Seiji Ebisawa in DYNAMITE to "escape" his shadow.

Since the closure of DYNAMITE, Gakusha has drifted along without any focus. Gakusha has returned to the big leagues; once again with Seiji Ebisawa as SPIRIT International to take KJPW by storm.

Biography: Seiji Ebisawa made his pro-wrestling debut in the early 1990's, primarily working for Tokyo-based independent Jisedai Pro-Wrestling. Ebisawa became one of the top names on the roster, and formed a pivotal tag team with best friend Katsumi Gakusha. Both Ebisawa and Gakusha would remain with Jisedai until the company finally buckled under financial restraints in 2002. Ebisawa, along with Gakusha invaded Project BETA Pro-Wrestling (the spiritual predecessor to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON) where they formed the original incarnation of SPIRIT International with Naoki Daishi and Goro "GORO" Iijima. He would have a break out year in 2003, winning the company's singles tournament en route to the C-1 Heavyweight Title.

Ebisawa would eventually be forced to leave CRIMSON after a blood feud with former friend Goro Iijima came to a head; leading to a Loser Leaves Town match. His inactivity didn't last long however, as he soon ended up in Kanagawa-based FREEDOM promotion, where he'd feud with Gakusha of all people. These were only momentary distractions however, as Ebisawa returned to CRIMSON in 2008 on the behest of company owner Kazushi Mimura; who needed a strong fighter with even stronger ties to CRIMSON to oppose Tatsumichi Akamatsu, who ruled CRIMSON as its enemy champion. Ebisawa took up the call, and would defeat Akamatsu (albeit via underhanded means) to claim the C-1 Heavyweight Title for a third time. After losing the title to Akuma Toyota, he'd once again find himself out of CRIMSON. He'd eventually land in the successor to FREEDOM, Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE where he brought with him the current version of SPIRIT International; consisting of himself, Katsumi Gakusha, and Shino Hiriyama.

Staying with DYNAMITE until their collapse, Ebisawa reared his head once more in late 2012 after learning about the plans for KJPW. While refusing a roster position, Ebisawa offered the services of SPIRIT International to KJPW during its establishing period in the name of goodwill. However, his actions and arrogant attitude towards KJPW rosters and staff show he has another agenda...
