Biography: Coming from a strong amateur wrestling background, Kitajima earned a full ride scholarship to Tokyo University. Kitajima had Olympic aspirations, but failed to qualify for the national team when the time came. Many speculated that Kitajima would try once again come the next games. Kitajima instead joined Kenji Tanamura's KT-Club stable in Hyogo to train for a career in MMA. As fate would have it however, Kitajima began dabbling in pro-wrestling on cards promoted by Tanamura himself. Overtime, Kitajima moved his focus from MMA to the pro-wrestling ring.
Since debuting in 2007, Kitajima has worked various independent promotions as a representative of Tanamura's KT-Club. But now, he makes KJPW his home promotion alongside Tanamura and his other ARMADA members. Kitajima is a tremendous talent with a full career still ahead of him.
