[News] KJPW Releases Touring Schedule!

-- KJPW has outlined its touring schedule for the first-half of the coming year. Following the EMPEROR'S CUP mini-series, KJPW will hold its "Prologue FINAL STAGE ~ IGNITION!!" series from March 29th in Hyogo to April 6th in Tokyo. It will be a shorter series, but serve as a primer for the official "Open Series" of KJPW, "BRAND NEW WORLD 2013." The tour begins in Osaka's smaller Matsushita IMP Hall on 4/20, and will build towards 4/28, as KJPW presents its second WORLD-WIDE Internet Pay-Per-View from the 3,800 seat Ota Ward Gymnasium in Tokyo. The show is being titled, "THE NEW WORLD," which may be indicative of things to come.

May will see the Road to the Kansai Pro-Wrestling Festival begin on 5/11 in BODYMAKER Colosseum's smaller hall. However, KJPW will return to Osaka on 5/31 with its first "SUPER CARD" event. 5/31 has been a tradition in Japanese Pro-Wrestling dating back to 2002, and has since become "The Day of Pro-Wrestling" in Japan. This time, KJPW will advance upon the larger, main hall of Osaka's BODYMAKER Colosseum, aiming to pack over 6,000 fans into the building. While nothing is confirmed, there is much speculation that terrestrial network TV Tokyo will air the event during GOLDEN TIME (Prime Time) hours. The show is expected to air as a World-Wide Internet Pay-Per-View as well.

Following KANFES, KJPW will return with its "SUMMER EVOLUTION SERIES ~ BURNING SPIRITS 2013 ~" tour from 6/15 to 07/05. The tour opens with a double header at Korakuen Hall, and will climax with the series finale in Hiroshima's Sun Plaza Hall, appropriately titled, "BURNING SPIRITS 2013." As the name indicates, the title of the series derives from Burning Spirit Pro-Wrestling's "OSAKA EVOLUTION" series. The significance of the name beyond that isn't clear.
