[Results] 2013.04.26 @ New Sunpia Tochigi

* Tonight's stop in Tochigi marked the last point before KJPW's next Pay-Per-View event on 4/28, "THE NEW WORLD" from the 3,800 seat Ota Ward Gymnasium in Tokyo. Naturally, tonight would also mark the final preliminary skirmish between the HEC Heavyweight Champion TAKU, and his fated Challenger -- the "Dream Catcher" Norihiro Akashi, who would have the crafty aid of his LEGION contemporaries -- Daisuke Iwakuma and Kameron Chase of the Ninth Gate. In addition, the KJPW Seikigun led by FukuRiki -- Naoki Fukuda and Riki Ichiro would face SPIRIT International for the last time before they meet Seiji Ebisawa and Katsumi Gakusha on 4/28 to decide the first HEC Tag Team Champion Team.

 * In the final meeting before 4/28, it would indeed be the KJPW Ace that would gain a measure of a psychological advantage over his Challenger after leading his side to victory over the trio representing LEGION. Having thrilling exchanges with all three men, TAKU would eventually score the fall over Kameron Chase following the Muscle Buster -- not without help from Yujiro Higuchi and Kazuki Sendo, who held Akashi and Daisuke at bay while the HEC Champion scored the pin.

TAKU and Akashi naturally bantered back and forth in their last public confrontation before 4/28. TAKU vowed to show Akashi the worth of his Title Belt, and prove that only the Strongest man in the world can burden the weight of its responsibility. Akashi smiled, reitering the words he exclaimed yesterday, simply saying "...That is why you will lose!" After Akashi left with Daisuke and company, TAKU said he didn't understand anything Akashi said as usual, and promised to beat some normalcy into the Dream Catcher on 4/28.

* In the night's semi final, SPIRIT International scored the win over the Seikigun team of Naoki Fukuda, Riki Fukuda, Go Taniguchi, and Shinji Uchikawa. The match served as the final skirmish before FukuRiki face the "Strongest Combination" of SPIRIT International -- Seiji Ebisawa and Katsumi Gakusha on 4/28 for the  HEC Tag Team Titles. While the Seikigun team was held back by the inexperience of Shinji Uchikawa, the plucky rookie would get a chance to shine early on against Shino Hiriyama, who perhaps took it easy on the rookie early on in an attempt to humiliate him. In the end however, Katsumi Gakusha would catch Uchikawa with the Blessful Crusher to give SPIRIT International the win!

There was very little trash talking afterwards, with Gakusha, Ebisawa, and the rest of SPIRIT International leaving -- satisfied with their victory. Riki Ichiro however gave a microphone appeal. Filling his words with passion, Ichiro vowed to utterly crush Gakusha and Ebisawa and send them packing. With KJPW firmly established as the standard of Japanese Pro-Wrestling, Ichiro stated that their purpose has been fulfilled. Touching on Gakusha's recent interest in challenging for his WWA National Heavyweight Title, Ichiro soundly refused, and told Gakusha to force him to acknowledge his strength first.

* Double Goodwin scored a victory over Masafuji Yoshida and rookie Yutaka Awano in the third bout. Despite hindering his team with his inexperience, Awano threw everything he had at the powerful heavyweights. While James held Yoshida at bay, "BIG" Jon would finish Awano with the Diving Body press.
