[News] Chikao Kessin Quits KJPW, Final Match on 4/17

In news that has surprised many fans world-wide, The "BIG BOSS" Chikao Kessin has signed a one-year contract with American-based EXODUS Pro-Wrestling, and will compete in his final match as a KJPW-contracted wrestler on 4/17 in Osaka.

The English-speaking wrestling world were given a brief hint on 3/30 when Kessin appeared on-camera during EXODUS Pro-Wrestling's "REPETITION OF HATRED" Internet Pay-Per-View. However, the rumor was confirmed to be true this afternoon, as the "BIG BOSS" himself met reporters inside the KJPW offices in Tokyo; in front of the large KJPW "Seal Mark" emblem emblazoned across the press room's main wall. "Thank you, KJPW..." Kessin gingerly spoke -- all while lightly touching the company logo. "...Even though you've stopped operation three times, causing me to become indebted to many shady creditors... Without you, I would not have become the BIG BOSS. You were good for something!"

Holding nothing back, Kessin was ruthless in his opinions towards what will soon be his former haunt. "For two years, we have all busted our asses and said nothing." While vague, Kessin's follow up was as straight forward as could be. "This company will always live in the past. This main event; KING cross KING; is a joke! If Fukuda, Tanamura, Ichiro, and those idiots are happy to forever be Fujita's boys, then I will leave them all to their fate! When this company crashes again under the hefty weight of Fujita, and now Yamato's wages, I will be laughing at their miseries from a sandy beach in San Diego!"

Looking to 4/17, Kessin defiantly announced that he was refusing to team with, or even face any wrestler currently on the KJPW roster. "I will no longer allow myself to be associated with subpar wrestlers. I am now an International Superstar... I'd possibly like to now be called the "BIG BOSS SUPER STAR" Chikao Kessin, but I think that might be too much." Kessin stated that he would only team with the men he deemed to be his equal, being the two men that helped him form DARK TRIAD: James Goodwin Jr, and his brother "BIG" Jon Goodwin. Kessin even teased, "It's a pity they are still under contract here. They would do wonderfully in EXODUS."

When questioned on possible opponents, Kessin alluded to possibly arranging for three of EXODUS's stars to come over, perhaps as a "Welcoming Present." Kessin named several EXODUS wrestlers as potential opponents, including new EXODUS Pro International Champion Justin Brooks.

In closing, Kessin vowed to close this chapter in his career once and for all, and blaze a new path of destruction and disaster across the West!
