[News] KJPW Star Wins International Gold!

In June 2013, KJPW True Born Shinji Uchikawa embarked on an indefinite overseas excursion. He immediately signed a one-year contract with KJPW's American partner, EXODUS Pro-Wrestling. During his time there, Uchikawa gained seasoning in the company's developmental territory -- REvolution Wrestling, winning their "Top of the Class" tournament. This victory gained him a full-time role on the EXODUS Pro-Wrestling roster, where he has gained quite the following among the hardcore EXODUS fans.

Monday night however, Shinji captured the first championship of his two year career after beating three other men to become the 1st EXODUS Pro Pacific Coast Champion. The match (along with all subsequent title bouts) included a unique "knockout" stipulation -- one that Shinji took full advantage of after knocking Simon Raines out cold with a brick-smashing rolling elbow to the jaw.

- EXODUS Pro Pacific Coast Title 4WAY Decision Match: Shinji Uchikawa beat Simon Raines, Jackie The Lad, and Shozo Arino when he used the Rolling Elbow on Raines to become the 1st champion.

While EXODUS will return home to prepare for its next event, rumors are swirling that Shinji will in fact stay behind to work KJPW's 4/17 KING × KING event. However, what the future lies for Shinji beyond 4/17, only Shinji knows.
