[News] Full lineups for the Remainder of the Road to KANFES 2015

* Backstage following tonight's Aichi event after seemingly finding himself with no allies, Hiroaki Nakata was approached by Tetsuhisa NAKAI and Ryuugo Nagashima, who pledged their support to Nakata during his time of need. NAKAI and Nakata have been rivals since breaking into wrestling together in 2002, with their rivalry fluctuating between friendly to hostile over the years, while Nagashima was a long-time mainstay on Nakata's "BREAK BLOW" promoted events, showing a mutual respect for one another.

Aichi - Toyohashi City Gymnasium #2 (1,500)

* Kingdom of Japan Pro-Wrestling continued its Road to KANFES 2015 with an eventful night of results in Aichi. The atmosphere was somewhat lessened due to the half-house, which arguably resulted from a lack of a full card announced. Never the less, the 750+ in attendance watched with a great interest leading into the night's opening bout with FIGHTING LOVE!'s Yusuke Kishimoto and Maleko Momoa facing KyouHonGan's Kazuki Sendo and SS Star.

[News] Main Card Announced for KANSAI PRO-WRESTLING FESTIVAL 2015! HEC Heavyweight Title Decided, TANAMURA vs. INOUE, Fujita/Yamato Dream Team!

* With tonight's Korakuen Hall event no completed, the card for the company's next big event is beginning to finally take shape. 5/31 is a date known for some of the biggest matches in the history of Japanese Pro-Wrestling, and this year's offering will be no different. Shortly following the conclusion of tonight's event, President Shigesato Ishiyama hosted a lively press conference comprised of an almost overwhelming amount of media to confirm the main matches for the 5/31 spectacular.

[Results] "Road to KANFES 2015," 2015/05/09 @ Korakuen Hall

* Prior to the broadcast opening, two junior heavyweights made their debut before the sell-out Korakuen Hall crowd. Ryo Nozawa, dressed in turquoise trunks and black boots, took on fellow KJPW dojo rookie Kappei Nakao, himself in plain green trunks & kneepads, with black amateur wrestling shoes. Nozawa, from a gymnastics background, was more flash than not, whereas Nakao has credentials in judo, karate and amateur wrestling, so his style was kept on the ground with hard strikes more often than not. It was back and forth for the allotted ten minutes, but neither could put the other away. A time-limit draw was declared, both men showing respect after the match.

[News] Preliminary Lineups for the Road to KANFES 2015!

* With less than one week away before the Road to KANFES 2015 kicks off in Korakuen Hall, the company has released preliminary lineups for the entire tour, which will stretch from 5/09 in Korakuen to the final destination on 5/31 ~ The 2015 KANSAI PRO-WRESTLING FESTIVAL in Kobe.

Indeed, KJPW will once again host the event -- celebrating the legacy of Japanese Pro-Wrestling, while at the same time forging a brave, new future. Since 2002, the 5/31 date has slowly become the "Pro-Wrestling Day" for fans in not just Kansai, but across Japan. Some of the greatest battles seen in the modern era has taken place on 5/31, including Genji Yamato and Tetsuhisa NAKAI -- who met on 5/31/2005 for the Unified Double Titles, along with the historic bout between Ryo Inoue and Kazuma Fujita in 2009, which emanated from the Osaka Dome.

While many can speculate, a card has yet to be announced for the 5/31 event. Given the 10,000 seat capacity of one of Kansai's entertainment meccas, nothing less but a top-loaded lineup should be expected.

T.A.P. have been signed to work three of the dates thus far -- though KJPW aims to secure them for 5/31 and possibly 5/25 in Korakuen Hall. The majority of the involvement see the young wards of Kenji Tanamura and Ryo Inoue square off in what will no doubt be heated skirmishes. However, the 5/15 card in Osaka will see the Principals enter the fray as Kenji Tanamura teams with Harumi Sakai against Ryo Inoue and Takumi Amano.
